The Barn at a Glance:

3-day Weekend Package: Check-in Friday at Noon to access all 3 Floors of The Barn, 12 overnight guests per night, staffed rehearsal and option to hold your rehearsal dinner at The Barn. Saturday staffed event to assist with guiding guests, wedding procession, set-up/tear-down of tables & chairs, staffed reception to maintained stocked bathrooms, clean-ups where needed, and end of night clean up. Check-out Sunday at Noon. Our price is all inclusive. No surprises ūüôā

Seating Capacity: Ideal reception size would be 150 or less, depending on the layout chosen.  However, if needed utilizing the outdoor balcony which can enclosed & air conditioned, up to 175 guests can be seated, depending upon seating arrangements. We recommend 150 and under for the elbow room of the entire event.

Catering – Open Catering policy …the Freedom to choose! You may use a recommended Full Service Caterer or you may choose your own Full Service Caterer (All caterers need to be Approved and provide Liability Certificate). We have a list of our favorites we can provide couples.

Alcohol – You have the freedom to choose how to purchase your alcohol, whether it’s BYOB, alcohol vendor, or caterer.¬† A Certified, Insured bartender must serve all alcohol. Some caterers also provide bartenders or a bartending service may be used.

Wedding Ceremony Grounds : Outside wedding grounds with pergola available. Weddings may also be held in the Washington room with inclement weather.  Plastic folding chairs included with Wedding Ceremony package.

Tables & Chairs –¬† ¬†Beautiful Chiavari chairs for the Washington Ballroom, and the Braddock rooms.¬† The tables for dinner, appetizers, pictures, etc. which are set up for your convenience before you arrive on Friday.

Convenience of the 3-day Stay: Access to all floors of the Barn on Friday for set up, decorating, rehearsals, rehearsal dinners.

Rental Equipment: РRented  chairs, tables, fountains, or other equipment are welcome from an outside source.

Current Ownership:

Originally a dairy barn built in 1799,  The Barn at Madison was formerly known as the 8th Wonder of the World, an upscale restaurant and antique shop.  Unfortunately, the building was abandoned for years, leaving everyone who drove past wondering what would become of it.

Brandon and Annie Yeager purchased the building, in the fall of 2012, and decided to bring a much needed wedding and event facility to the quaint town of Madison, Pa.  A  major renovation project brought  the historic barn back to its grand state.

It brings the Yeager’s a wonderful sense of accomplishment and joy to provide a magnificent reception destination for brides, grooms,¬† and their families during such a special moment in time.¬† Married for over 15 years, they know the love that is waiting at your doorstep.¬†¬† THE BARN will be the beginning of a couple’s new life together,¬† and the witness to the wonders that can arise when two committed individuals form a covenant to love one another, for better and worse,¬† ready to tackle every obstacle together.
